Sundays in the city or out in the country. Different habits, different rhythms and different perspectives on the seventh day, which our civilisation has decreed a day of rest or at least one where the usual perception of time is put to one side. Each film in the series explores a different universe and the rituals that bring together friends, family, workers and professions. Each time, a different character shows us around his or her Sunday with its conviviality or solitude, regular events or spur of the moment activities. And as we see, not everybody agrees with Juliette Greco¹s post-war declaration, "I hate Sundays".
