Williams Syndrome is a rare, non-hereditary disorder, whose sufferers are left with an IQ of less than 60, unable to read, write or count. They have similar facial features, auditory hypersensitivity and possible heart defects. But what singles them out in the most surprising and unexpected way is their gift for music. This film follows a group of Williams children on an annual week-long music course in upstate New York. By meeting and getting to know them and their special talents, we are encouraged to revise our idea of mental disability.
