The Sierra Maestra, Cuba's Sun Mountain, entered into legend the 2nd December 1958, when the Castro brothers, Fidel and Raul, arrived with a handful of men, including Che Guevara, to launch a guerilla war against Batista's dictatorship. Two years later, they came down from the Sierra Maestra to take power in Havana. That day another adventure began, that of the family doctors.
