Just over 20 years ago, a Uruguayan plane crashed in the Andes, carrying a team of rugby players. 70 days later, a Chilean shepherd makes out two figures in the distance, on the far side of the valley… How did they manage to survive that long? By breaking the “taboo” of our Christian values: they fed on the flesh of their companions who died in the crash in order to survive. They became rapidly known as the “Cannibals of the Andes”.
