In order to provide an adequate reaction to juvenile delinquency, the court of Bobigny – a so called « sensitive » suburban area near Paris – has created an immediate treatment of all cases involving teenagers. This experiment has decreased to 7% the usual 35% of repeat offences. An improvement shedding light on the desperate need of moral and behavioural markers in today’s urban context.
