Alain Davy is a policeman and works at the Road Information Centre in Rosny-sous-Bois. Traffic jams and road accidents are his daily routine. But as soon as he takes off his uniform, Alain Davy has only one thing in mind : his roller skates. At 38, he has accomplished one of his most cherished dreams: to cross the Pyrenees on his skates. In five days, from Bayonne to Perpignan, through the great Pyrenean passes which have become synonymous with the most famous stages of the Tour de France, he experienced a 400 miles long adventure accompanied by five colleagues driving or riding with him.
