Giving birth to a child is an often-idealized event, as it is one of the most important in a woman's life. Despite the happiness to come, during pregnancy consultations and until childbirth, women experience situations where they feel vulnerable and exposed.

These intimate moments should happen with the greatest gentleness and perfect respect for their bodies. However, for many women this is a bad period, they feel victims of "gynaecological and obstetric violence" affecting their mental and physical integrity.
Are deaf women even more vulnerable to such violence? Aurélie and Morgane, two young deaf mothers, share the story of their pregnancy and childbirth. Have they always felt listened to, understood?
A signing midwife, a gynaecologist and an activist analyse their feelings and make us understand how to fight against this sort of violence.
