Catherine Bernstein never liked the city of Tours.

All the same, she grew up there and today she goes back to make a film. The Lycée Balzac, where she studied, was where it all happened… where she got to know Margaux, Aurore, Laurianne, Héléna and Lou. They were in their last year of high school. 35 years ago, they fell in love for the first time, prepared for their baccalaureate, discovered their first presidential election, wondered about commitment and their future.

These ‘Tourangelles’ - these girls from Tours – are now protagonists of this documentary and serve as guides for the director on her return to the town where she was born.
During the course of this rediscovery of Tour, her perception of the town changes and takes on a different dimension...
