The place where you were born will always be a special. It’s where we’ve grown up, where our roots are. Our first memories and dreams are connected to our birthplace; it’s where we spent part of our lives before moving on... What is it like to return to it many years later? Do we still feel the same?

We’ve been asking filmmakers whose work we appreciate, to go for us on such a "return home" trip to the setting of their early years. To take us on a guided tour by “the local kid” around the town and region they knew when they were growing up.
