In China, there is a uniform for everyone – the hairdresser, the high school student, the voluntary worker, the Secretary General of the Party or the waitress in a restaurant.

And speaking of the Party, did you know that Mao never wore a jacket with a Mao-style collar? The elders are still attached to the uniform dress of Mao’s days and the young are not adverse to dressing up as the former leader.
