The bus has always been an invitation to travel, taking us to other worlds, other cultures and distant horizons. The bus is used everywhere and by almost everyone. It is easy, practical, inexpensive and available. It crosses the most remote regions, in every weather, linking far-flung communities to big cities. It is still the most common means of transport over long distances, replacing the car, which is too expensive for many. John Steinbeck once said, “it is the poor man’s taxi”…
