The very public and televised trial of General Arnaldo Ochoa Sanchez, hero of the Revolution, which took place in La Havana from June 16 to July 10, 1989.

Gen. Ochoa, who had close ties to the Castro brothers, headed command operations in South America and Africa. In 1988 he won the Angola war and was made a ‘Hero of the Revolution’, the highest distinction awarded by the Cuban leadership.
