« You can dream of travels to foreign lands or you can make your dream come true… ».
One day, Marc and Claire made their dream come true: the two of them planned to up stakes and cross Asia on their bicycles during a whole year – from Istanbul to Bangkok, via Iran, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, India, China, Vietnam – seeing with their own eyes what they only knew from photss.
They left behind family and friends, sacrificed their jobs and exchanged all mod con’s against the less comfortable leather saddles of their bikes and the four bags that held all their belongings.
As modern-day nomads, they changed pace…it was ok to slow down! Two mad people on bicycles created a lot of curiosity and led to many encounters with the local population. These chance meetings acted as a motor and kept them going… Marc and Claire had a third passenger in their saddle bags: a film camera, the privileged observer of their adventure...
