What's it like living alongside the murderers of your family ?
This unlikely situation does indeed exist in parts of Cambodia where peasants are returning to their land now that the war is over, only to find that, in some cases, they have to share it with former fighters from the Khmer Rouge. The film visits Pailin, previously a Khmer Rouge stronghold, to examine this strange case of amnesia, or maybe just indifference.
