After having ignored his genius for a long time, France finally paid homage to one of her rare 19th century composers. The 5 movements of Berlioz’ outstanding “Symphonie Fantastique” provide the musical framework to the different ‘chapters’ of the composer’s colourful life, dominated by three great love stories, great successes and disappointments.
With contributions by Roberto Alagna, Pierre Boulez and many others.
