Assia, Toufik, Nassera, Gaston and Eva have been born in France or in Africa. At one point or another, all of them have suffered from discrimination at work or when looking for a job.

It’s not openly said, of course. It’s just a word, a phrase or a general attitude that made them feel that they might not have their place in the job market. Under French law, though, discrimination is considered ‘unequal treatment’.
But for the five protagonists, that experience has left a scar. Although it had happened at least two years prior to the filming of this documentary, all of them are still suffering from it.
How have they coped? How have they been able to raise their heads and go forward after this humiliation?
This film attempts to answer at least some of these questions.

AVAILABLE FOR SCREENING: French version only.
