10 years ago, Martin Gester created his own orchestra, the “Parlement de Musique”. Working with his musicians, his interpretation is not the ephemeral or sacred approach to baroque music, but a very ‘earthy’ and lively reading, carried by the voice. On the occasion of the orchestra’s anniversary, he has taken on Haendel’s Messiah and we discover gifted and committed soloists and instrumentalists who share Gester’s passionate musical vision.
