British soprano Felicity Lott is one of the most outstanding artists of her generation. Her particular affection for the French repertoire and “opera comique” was the reason why the Châtelet in Paris offered her the role of Offenbach’s Hélène in this mythological pastiche. We follow the development of the production from rehearsal to stage – the work with conductor Marc Minkowski, the soloists and the ensemble.
