When thinking of South America, the Incas, colourful markets and stunning vistas come to mind, but also of the famous buses that transport visitors and in joyful disorder. The bus running from Buenos Aires to Lima – some 5000 km - is one of the longest routes in the world, crossing through 3 countries: Argentina, Chile and Peru. It’s been named EL RAPIDO – which is not to be taken too literally! We board the El Rapido on a voyage through splendid mountains and deserts, in the company of our fellow passengers, the bus drivers or a the owner of a bar in the Atacama desert.
