01. COVID 19 - GROUNDHOG DAY
Director(s): Laurent VALO – Writer(s): Laurent VALO Contact Print page
Like a large majority of people around the world, France is in lockdown.
Charlotte, the student, Claire the activist, Wallès the journalist, Kim the mother, Marie the nurse, and Josette the pensioner, live confined to their homes following the measures taken to fight the pandemic caused by coronavirus.
Over several days, they are filming their daily life as their logbook of this confinement, allowing us to understand this health crisis from a singular point of view, that of the deaf.
As their life is being reorganised, the comments and images of their changed circumstances, tell their own story… Our world has all of a sudden become more vulnerable by this pandemic.
