Nice, July 14, 2016. A deaf couple had been enjoying the fireworks display on the Promenade des Anglais. They didn't immediately understand what was going on. Like many witnesses to the attack, they did not assess right away how it was going to impact them psychologically.
Acknowledging their invisible suffering has been a long journey. This film retraces the difficulties they came up against and explains how they managed to overcome them.
