A German homeless couple winds up in the city of Lyon, France. Their van has broken down and Covid-19 has sent half of the planet into lockdown. Lynn and Paris are madly in love, want a child and dream of a fantastical future in this deserted city that now belongs to them.
During their daily life of idleness in a world on the edge of collapse, cracks appear in their bubble of love: Paris's health is fragile, the demons of his past still haunt him and they face a great many obstacles if they want to settle somewhere more permanent.
This film is a love story, which its director explores…in the realms between dream and reality.

Their van is parked up in a lot on the banks of the River Saone; the setting is bucolic, spring is in the air… They love the isolation; they are enough for themselves. When they're not begging, they stay in their van with their dog, also under lockdown. From time to time, they leave their zone to go for a shower, seek help from an association, or simply go for a stroll, day or night.
Lynn thinks she's pregnant. She hasn't done a test yet, but the signs are all there. The arrival of a new life gives a whole new dimension to their story. Lynn & Paris want a good life for their child; they like France, particularly Lyon, and would like to rent an apartment here, learn French and find work. But as the days go by, this beautiful coat of paint begins to show signs of cracking. Paris's health takes a turn for the worse; a visit to the doctor reveal that they are suffering from bipolar disorders, and they realize that their plans could be scuppered by the language barrier, the precarious nature of their situation and the post-virus world.
The film swings between romance and potential drama; between moments of sweet dreams and nightmares; hopes and fears; insouciance and hard reality. The more they fantasize about their future, the more doubts we have. To reach their aims, they still have a lot of obstacles to overcome.
