Why have they all come onto this 100% sign language cruise, the Deaf Cruise? First and foremost, there is the promise of relaxation and fun. But the most important thing is the rare opportunity to be among deaf and enjoy this privacy-on-water, something of a dream break!
Indeed, for three days, they don’t need to worry about “social norms” and communication efforts and can just be themselves… Fully expressing the feeling of deaf brotherhood that unites them, regardless of their background and origins.
