Australia offers an extraordinary natural observatory of the skies of the southern hemisphere.
While this has been the source of many of the Aboriginal Dreaming stories, today the Austral skies are being monitored by the famous Parkes Observatory, one of the very first radio telescopes capable of controlling the space probes exploring our solar system.
This giant antenna also allowed astronomers to unravel the secrets of incredibly powerful and distant stars... the extraordinary quasars, true cosmic monsters that could well be the origin of the very first galaxies.
