In Egypt, Islamic dress has first been offered to young students as the answer to a social problem, a way around the rising costs of fashionable dress.
We meet the « stylish Mohaggabate », coquettish young woman who wear the veil together with tight jeans and even tighter tops, as if saying “you want us to cover up, fine, but we’ll show our butts”!
And as for the ultimate fashion sales pitch… nothing more convincing than the fear of wife to be abandoned for a more stylish, younger rival.
