The game of ‘boule’ has been associated with life in the South, Provençal folklore, and it’s part of the national heritage. Beyond the clichés, we discover the surprising world of what’s known as “La Pétanque”: a game that was born in 1910 at La Ciotat near Marseille and conquered the world.
