Francis, the pianist, has been somewhat in the shade of Didier, the younger of the two brothers… Before his crucial encounter with Grappeli, fro Didier there was but his older brother – so in love with jazz that he gave up classical music in order to become one of the most sought-afetr Fernch recording artists. Then, Didier became a star, THE jazz violinist who performed in the most prestigious concert halls all over the world. And, sometimes, between two planes, the brothers meet for a rare moment of playing together. This time, it’s in a small concert hall, practically a concert for friends. Three “violin/piano” improvisations of well-known pieces. The two brothers from Calais are as much in tune on stage as in real life!
