Ramkanya is fourteen years old. She is Prime Minister of the Children's Republic of Rajasthan and a worker in a marble quarry. With the help of a local NGO, 3,000 children elected their own parliament and government. Top of their agenda is the struggle against abuse in marriage and the exploitation of child labor. The film follows Ramkanya and his peers on the campaign trail to give an insight into how they live and how they are learning to be politically aware.
