FRANCE: HORSE WHISPERER (The)
Director(s): Jean-Yves CAUCHARD Contact Print page
In his ramshackle old vehicle, Donald criss-crosses the roads of France and Europe, coming to the aid of the riders and their mounts. A biting horse, a mad animal that is just good for the slaughter house… nothing deters Donald.
“When an owner calls me, I always ask, are you sure that the problem isn’t you..?”
For Donald, natural riding implies a true commitment coming from the owner. He has to be open-minded, ready to question himself, his methods and his attitude. This self-analysis is the price to pay in order to achieve a balanced, harmonious relationship between man and horse.
