DRESS IN TEXAS

Director(s): Joshua PHILLIPS – Writer(s): Joshua PHILLIPS   Contact Contact   Download Print page

In Texas, the dry cleaners and laundries are in no danger of becoming unemployed, because Texans are quite meticulous about their jeans which should be starched. And each element of the perfect cowboy outfit is perfectly coded and displayed by most Texans with proud ostentation.
The famous Texan boot which has become the symbol of this southernmost US state, is in fact Spanish and called santiag. All of these articles of clothing are considered particularly masculine, but have in fact been enthusiastically adopted by girls.
And when you go shopping in the state capital of Austin – a left-wing bastion – you’ll always find a very Texan santiag or a stetson among more “casual” clothing.
