Les Films du Balibari, headed by Estelle Robin-You, is a French independent film production company, set up in 1998 in the windswept city of Nantes:

"After several years of fiction and documentary production, we realised that documentary was really what made us tick! We focus mainly on creative documentaries, with a recurring leitmotiv: offering authors the time and expertise they deserve to develop their ideas.
We are particularly drawn to society, art and history topics, and tend to keep a very strong humanistic focus throughout the films we produce.
Our productions have travelled on TV screens and festivals around the world, and we were nominated for the Procirep French Producer Award 2010.
We are very happy to have joined forces with the Point du Jour team since 2013."

The company has been nominated for the French Producer of the Year Award 2017. The award ceremony will take place on March 13, 2017.
